I own 2 Yorks one big EEb and one big BBb ,very good playing tubas , but i also own alot of huge Conns and other fine makes . I wish someone ,( "i know im leaving myself open for the bombing" !!!!!) could tell me why they think the yorks play better than any other fine tuba ? my god i can shake the building with my big Conns and also play so soft with a sweet tone , mind you ! that you have to strain to hear , or blend like a string bass in a symphony . For myself ive about had the YORK thingy !!up to my ears !! get real PRACTISE !!!! thats the key to it !! sorry to ramble , just my 2cents . thx
