Professionally, I play string/electric bass, clarinets, saxes, and trombones in addition to tuba. I have covered lower trumpet parts, and played at piano in chirch settings.

I don't have a crossover problem as long as I have a little time to adjust from one to another. (woodwinds to brass and back). If I have to make a quick change, I do have a slight adjustment to make from keeping a still lower lip on reeds to the flexibility needed for the brass. As you can figure from your playing, There is not a problem crossing over from strings.

No, I don't have a problem changing cleffs.

I do sing, but I have cut back in the past 5 years so that I could give the voice a rest.
I sing baritone/bass. (euphonium/bass because of my larger bore size. 6'0", 240 lbs.)

I enjoyed reading your last thread. Keep it up.

Tom
