I've spent quite a bit of time doubling on bassoon (please... no wise cracks!). There's no problem for me going from euph to bassoon, but going the other way around I need about a 20 minute break before everything works well. That said, I've played a lot less bassoon in the last six months, and have noticed some big positive changes in my euphonium playing. I'm sure there's a relation there somewhere.
