My wife and I are moving to VA Beach later this summer, and was just wondering what musical opportunities there might be for me when I get there. I'd like to try to make some contacts now and hit the ground running, so to speak, when we move in July. I'm a Tuba and Bass doubler, interested in all kinds of music and settings, but traditional jazz and swing are probably my strongest suits at this time.
