Of course he's in it for the money!! Why else have a store? You can say the same thing for Steve Dillon, Joe S. or Dave Fedderly. The difference is that Vince doesn't take as long term as view as many others. He seems to be interested in doing whatever he can to make a sale, and then doesn't worry if his customers find out that they didn't get a good deal. Others realize that selling an instrument, especially something as expensive as a tuba, is an opportunity to build a relationship with a customer that will provide benefit over the customer's lifetime. Odds are a customer will buy more than one horn, or at least continue to need service and accessories. If they feel that they have been properly treated they are more likely to come back.
