Do you have any idea of the level of ignorance you expose in yourself when you make comments like you just did. Do you really think that a pedagogue/musician as incredible as Sam Pilafian would include someone year after year in a very prestigious brass clinic, if he couldn't teach something of great value to those who are willing to learn? I would suggest you stop trying to make yourself feel better about the way you play by bashing on someone who is a far better player. Do you think that actually makes you a better musician?
