Determining the best college for you really is impossible without knowing you or your needs. Figure out exactly what you want from a school. What do you want to major in? If it's music, what kind of music? Do you want to focus on trombone, or do you want to be an effective doubler? Do you want to focus on band, orchestral, or solo playing? Is cost a factor? How about vicinity to your home? What kind of personality do you want your teacher to have? When you answer these questions (and several more) you can probably begin your college search. And with a specific idea of what you want in mind, I bet searching for that college will become much, much easier.
