I am aware of Eastman. My teacher is an alum and preaches it whenever he gets the chance. But the question is: would I get to do a lot of playing? It's a big school with a lot of big players I'm sure...or is it not a grad school?
Plus they have the top rated jazz ensemble (rated by Downbeat magazine) in the country!
