Ike, don't feel like this is a rare occurence with the Preacher, aka Dr. Farris F. Moore. It happens all the time, even with my customers in the Jaguar parts biz.
When you're 92 years old, have the memory he has, and have worked in basically the same area for 70 years, you meet a lot of people. The rare thing is that he has a near-photographic memory for faces. I've seen him dredge up someone's name that he met one time forty years ago. Amazing. I'm half his age and I can't remember what I had for lunch two days ago . . .
BTW, list, I'm the father of that industrious high school tubist.
