Yeah, I agree. The Holton is a great quintet horn. I've actually heard about quintet players dumping their F-tubas for the Phillips. I won't go any further about the King except to say that I have had the same experience (own a phillips/play tested a king). It just SEEMED a heck of a lot smaller.
