I recently received a special order Cerveny C euphonium with four rotary valves. It's a real beauty with very high quality workmanship and materials. There are a few squirrely notes, but nothing that can't be handled by lipping or by alternate fingerings. This horn has a magnificent tone, especially if the 11 CL mouthpiece is replaced by a shaved Schilke 57 or 58. (The bigger mouthpieces almost solve some of the intonation problems too.)
