After reading all the posts down below, some of which are useless shop talk about old and generally unavailable tudas, I will tell you that all the CC tubas made by B&S that I have played (PT-3; PT-4; PT-6) have excellent low register response, and are available to anyone willing to pay for one. I will add that it is the player who must develop a good low register in the first place, which will then serve him/her well on any tuba.
