I play BBb Tuba and I am trying to figure out Bobo's Book. I read his explanation about why it's written to avoid transposition( a treble cleff C = open Bb on Tuba).......then I get to page 22 where there is added sharps, flats, key signatures and it starts on a treble clef G. I just short circuit. From there it just gets worse until I can't play squat.....It's a GREAT Book, I just don't understand how to figure out what notes I should be playing!!!! Could somebody help get me on track? I really want to get through the book.
