I don't seem to have much of a problem with those partials on mine. I have weird things that go on with my tuner, but in ensemble it is very easy to play in tune at any dynamic. I tried using a PT-48 on it, and didn't like it nearly as much as the Helleberg that comes with it. The PT didn't just effect the tuning, but the overall sound in a direction I didn't want to go.
