I have played and sold many of the Weril 980 euphoniums in the past year. I think they are a great horn for the price. However, the last two I received (and returned to DEG) have been assembled so that the valves are a bit too far to the left, and my first finger hits the left side of the top bow, making it uncolmfortable to play. A DEG rep said this was not normal, and would replace them. So, make sure you try before you buy, unless you have small hands. Hopefully they'll slap around a few of the assemblers at the factory to get them put together straight again!
