I second the Gale and the Dahl. I had the opportunity to perform the Dahl several times last year with the bass trombone and tuba. The tuba part is pretty much an "octave down" version of the bass trombone part, but still adds a lot to it.

As for the Bach....all of the Contrapunctii are great (1, 4, 5, 9 are the "better known). Check out the Pittsburgh Symphony Brass' recording of the Art of Fugue. Really great playing by all, especially Murray Crewe and Sumner Erickson....whoa!!!
