The picture shows the 4 valve version of the instrument Lew tells of. Actually the model # is 533.

The link below leads to the Bb version of a piston model. that also comes in C as #342 with the same bore but a narrower 280mm (11") bell.

I have never seen these c models in real life. The music that mid-aged and older people gather around socially in Central Europe is different from what Elvis generation gathers around in the US.

In that context a C euph might be as useful as the C melody sax was in the lounges a century ago.
