The University of Michigan is quite a fine place for euphonium players. Not a whole lot of them, 6 to 9. Fritz Kaenzig is a wonderful teacher and his studio to tuba and euphonium players definitely shows it. The Wind ensemble is quite strong under its new conductor, Michael Haithcock.
