I agree. I actually picked up Corporal just shy of my 1 year mark. That's E-4 to all you non Marines. And Sgt at 2 years 8 months in the Corps. If I stayed in I would be looking at Staff Sgt (E-6) around 6-8 years. You have to sit at Sgt for 3 years before you become eligible for Staff. I think every service has something incredible to offer. If you need money go Army, if you want to travel go Navy, if you want to play really good music and never leave a duty station go Air Force, if you want something a little different and are either a little insane, have daddy issues, or just need to prove something go Marine Corps. All I can say is that there is nothing like wearing Dress Blues next to some guy in a pickle suit. Sorry Sean just had to.
