One problem that comes with this whole deal is picking dates. We could've planned this year's for one week later, or two or three. Primary problem: our facility would not have been available. While this was NOT a venture to put another line on anyone's resume' (I mean, really, my partner in this venture is an amateur tubist--what does he need with that line?) we did need to find as cheap a way to do the entire thing. If we hadn't put it during that week, then we would have to pay much, much more to rent facilities, etc. and even then, we wouldn't have had recital halls, etc. Just big rooms with less than desirable acoustics.
