Took a horn in to have some modifications. I picked it up a couple of weeks later and have been doing the suggested play-testing before doing the final finish work. I have noticed that it appears that the horn was possibly dropped in that I cannot remove the 4th valve cap (runs into the body of the horn, enough room to oil but not to remove the valve). I will be taking it back to finish the work but wonder how best to address the new concern (this was not a problem before taking it in but I did not notice it right away). I own several horns and am not in a habit of allowing them to fall, and do not use a gig bag on this one (in fact it hasn't left the house since getting it back). I guess it is possible that it was damaged in transit, but highly unikely.
