1972 model Alexander CC Tuba.
This tuba is very similar to the tuba Jeff Baker is selling. Similar looks and even more similar sound. This Alex has 4 valves and produces an incredible tone. The leadpipe sits a little higher tha usual, but seems to somehow enhance the sound. Great rotors and linkage, no sticks or lags. Only dings are the usual minor ones, and the tuba has just been cleaned professionally also.
The only thing I know about the history of it is that Sam Pilafian used to own it, and he verified that when I showed it to him at the OU workshop.
Also includes an Anvil case custom fit for the tuba ($300).
My asking price is $5000 but deals are negotiable.
