I apologize for not replying to this sooner, but I hope you understand the sheer busy-ness of right now....
Prizes for solo competitions are $1000 1st, $500 2nd. Same for Mock Auditions.
Quartet $2000 1st, $1000 2nd.
The primary reason these have not been published is that literally until the first part of this week, we had hopes of larger prizes. Just didn't happen.
We probably should have handled this differently, and I apologize that we don't have more to offer. Previous ITEC's have had instruments, etc., which is part of the problem this year--manufacturer's are somewhat tapped out, and in a couple of cases ticked off enough at previous winner's behavior (selling the instrument on ebay, for instance--right after ITEC, or requesting cash instead) that it's really really difficult to get instruments from these folks. I dont' blame them at all....just something we're having to deal with.
