I stand corrected on stating that there were so very few full tuba jobs. I am sincerely happy to see that there are more than I thought. My point, as inarticulately stated as it was, is that most tuba teachers do a lot more than just teach tuba specific classes and lessons. I also still think that it is extremely rare to find tuba studios that are large enough to have a full-time tuba instructor/ professor. There seems to be more than I thought, but surely they are the exception. A terrific exception, but still somewhat rare.
Andy, it does seem you do have a great gig and I am slightly jealous as I am job hunting right now.
