I always play the 12 major scales (one octave) during every practice session. That seems challenging enough for a bozo like me.
I did start thinking about adding the octave, and ran through it once just to try it on. It will take more work. Lots more work.
I'm also starting to train myself on the 12 blues scales, which I'd rather know than the variations on the minor modes.
