Above, we just touched on the abuse and/or distortion of "tenure". I can't imagine being on the "bleeding edge" and yet - purposefully, lazily, or because of lack of cognition - teaching outmoded techniques. I couldn't follow the logic in either of your supposed examples on that point - again, considering the "bleeding edge" level of true professors.

Kenneth, truly I can always sense your own dedication (You must know - to be absolutely clear - that this is meant with absolute earnestness.), and "bleeding edge" character, but perhaps this post was a bit too apologetic for one's colleagues in the "biz".
