Martin, I took your survey but was wondering that if you are trying to show a link between speech stuttering and the valsalva manuever shouldn't there be a question asking those who have never experienced the valsalva manuever whether or not they stutter? I have a mild stutter, sometimes certain words don't want to come out. Usually I can tell beforehand and change the word to something I can say with no problems. However I have never experienced the valsalva manuever in 10 yrs of playing.
Just as important as the # of people who do experience the valsalva manuever and also stutter, is the # of people who stutter but don't experience the valsalva manuever.
