Any music shop that deals at all in Yamaha products can get the clear-plastic-coated valve springs. I keep them in my shop and use them for more than just Yamaha instruments. They are quiet and last a long time. I don't know what the poster below is doing to his springs and valves, but if you have really clean, healthy, well-oiled valves, your springs should not wear out for many years if they are not taken out and damaged. If you stretch out piston valve springs, you have just trashed them, so I recommend against ever doing that.
