I own Holtons and Martins and have had Conns as well. I like the sound of the Holton, but I've found the Martin 4-valve more useful in my situation as an orchestral player. I have both bells for it. It's great for the outdoors summer pops stuff. I'll probably use it this weekend for that very purpose. My Holtons are more limited, because they are only 3-valve versions.
