Brian is right about the activity at this conference. All of the presentations, recitals, and clinics should be first rate. Harvey Phillips presentation is one that NO ONE should miss. He will be discussing his life and the changes in the tuba during his long and very productive career. Mr Phillips clinic is on the "Past, Present, and Future of the Tuba, Variety is the Spice of Life". The contributions that Harvey Phillips has made to the tuba are overwhelming the say the least. As a performer, teacher, organizer, promoter, etc. he is without equal. This is an opportunity for those of you who have never personally met Mr. Phillips to do so. He will be here for the entire conference and is always ready to talk TUBA, a very special person. Do not miss this opportunity to hear a hugh piece of tuba history straight from the horse's mouth.
