I recently had a conversation with a professional euph player about the newer Yamaha euphoniums. I had told him that I was interested in looking at a new horn, and he said that he loved his. He said that they were selling really well, in fact, stores couldn't keep them stocked to try out. I was wondering if anyone had any input about these horns. I know that's kind of an objective subject, but I haven't heard anything much about them. I currently play a Willson which I'm content with, but I believe that I can find something I like better. Also, if I were looking to sell my old horn, where is a good place to advertise? Thanks.
On a side note, I read about the theft of instruments and stuff by Anthony Labelle. Can anyone confirm that he has had any success on the tuba? When I knew him, he was a complete flake and failed out of school, but that's been a few years. Just curious.
