I think you will find there are more compensating tubas in use by professionals than you
think! Not here in US because we have been left behind by advice from slide pullers who don't really care that much about intonation! After all, why should they when we tolerate
Steinway and Bosendorf pianos that are purposely tuned 15 to 20 cents flat in the tuba
range!
