It is with pleasure that the planning committee of the upcoming Harvey Phillips/ITEA 30th Anniversary Celebration announces the Guest Artists for the Dedication Concert on Saturday, May 31st in Auer Recital Hall, IU School of Music at Indiana University. The concert begins at 4pm CST and is FREE and open to the public. (The ITEA Funraiser dinner honoring Harvey Phillips that evening requires a reservation. Click on the Announcement on the main page of the Tubenet to see all the instructions and information on these events.
Guest Artists for the May 31st Dedication Concert will include but not be limited to:
Jeff Anderson, Ted Cox, Symphonia with Winston Morris, conductor, Pat Sheridan, Sam Pilafian, Brian Bowman, Tim Northcut, and Daniel Perantoni.
From this list, you can see that this concert is to be of the highest quality. Artists will perform works honoring or associated with both Harvey Phillips and the 1973 International Tuba Conference.
