this isn't the same kind of allergies you were talking about but get this, I'M ALLERGIC TO MY TUBA. yeah. i'm allergic to nickel and i have a st pete tuba. i cant touch it except with the palms of my hands because they're tougher but if i'm playing for a long time my palms itch...(yes i'm sure it's the tuba, and i'm not going to go blind) this fall i'm starting my music performance degree on tuba, so i plan on being itchy. just thought it was an ironic twist of fate.
