1) where did you find this analysis of Meistersinger?
2) what do you think of the idea that todays values as analytical tools
may not be the best tools to use for historical analysis?
3) I asked about your analytical source, mainly because I am curious but also because I'd encourage any reader of MY thoughts to consider the philosophy of historians, i.e. "what are the reasons and motivations behind this historical recorder's work?"
