I could see a Ti rotor horn--every rotor's the same and the shapes are simple. But pistons look to be another story. Wear would be another issue--how would one refurbish a worn set of titanium pistons and casings? Have you thought about having your present casings and pistons PVD coated with an anti-wear coating like TiN?
The be-all of piston valves, I think, would be ceramic. Hard as nails and light. But not exactly the stuff for a fellow with a torch and a lathe.
