I would say that a contrabass tuba would be your best bet and depending on the type of music that you will be playing would determine the key. If you are comfortable with BBb and you will be playing mostly band tunes then the BBb tuba would be a good choise. If you plan to do a lot of orchestral playling then a CC may work better for you. BBb tubas are generally less money and there are a number of very fine instruments to choose from these days.
