Well, I finally got a chance to try the Parke Ofenloch mouthpiece on my MW 2145 today. I was out of the country on tour for 2 weeks, and my wife said the mouthpiece arrived the day I left. First off, it is a GREAT all-around mouthpiece!! Sound, intonation, response, etc. seem to work wonderful on the Meinls. I do have one problem / concern though. It goes virtually all the way in and still has some play in it. I have to give it a wack with my palm to keep it from rattling. I know Gary designed it to go in far, but should I go with the larger shank?

P.S. The Warburton-Neilan was designed for and worked perfectly on my hot rodded Mirafone 1290, but just isn't the ultimate match for the meinls.
