It was asked if we rate our "tubah gods" a little easier or if we standing "O" a little too quick. I'm wondering if any one was disappointed not by a performance, but by behavior of one of their "tubah gods". The reason I ask is that I was reminded of an occasion that I met one of these folks before a concert and was very surprised by his big attitude. He was VERY ungracious. I let him go for a while during the conversation (I was with my wife), but then gave it back to him a little by slipping in teacher's names and playing venues that we shared.
With the small demographic size of "adoring fans" you would think these people would not want to reduce the numbers! Heh, heh
Anyone else have an encounter with a "rock star" low brass player? No names are necessary, to protect the conspicuous.
