Does anyone have experience or insight regarding purchasing a tuba in the States and driving it across the border to Canada?
Just wondered how the customs, duties and taxes worked out. Are state taxes paid at the time of purchase if the purchaser is a non-resident?
What about border security? Large metalic object and all that...
Also, any experience taking a tuba into the States (if I were thinking about using it as a trade-in on another horn)?
