Good luck,

I have a PT-6 that was damaged in a hard case (winter case, about $750). United airlines (I saw from the plane) threw it onto the ramp, missed, hit a metal protrusion on the loading ramp and crushed one of the tubes in the middle. It was veruy difficult to fix, but did get fixed. They refuse any responsibility, will not even respond to letters or phoine calls and are rude as hell! If you have a horn you value either get one of the really good flight cases that are very expensive (Call Neil Campbell at Custom Music) or buy a seat, and carry it everywhere. The airlines are a crap shoot, and they don't give a damn about valuable items! Good luck!
