From about 6 month I am looking for a very good F tuba
with a good bass register and very easy to play.
If I'll be not able to find it I'll buy
the E flat 983 Besson.
I tryed some Istruments mostly Yamaha, Perantucci, one Rudolf Meinl
and one Cerveny.
The Perantucci (Pt10 and 15) are very good instrument with a very
dark sound but when I play the C with the 4th I understand that it
is not the horn for me. I do not feel this note with the lips!!
Similar sensation I had on the Cerveny and R. Meinl.
So I am decised to Buy Yamaha.
I tryed the 621 and the Custom, but it is very difficult
for me to decided. I'd like to buy a F tuba for the life so it
is not a question of price.
The 621 it is very very open (incredible), the Custom is a little less open
(probably because the 5th is after the 4th and not before than the first)
but it has a more sweet sound. I play from anly one year the tuba
(I am pianist) and probably I'll play in quintet, in Jazz but not in
Orchestra.
I need your precious suggestions.
Tanks for help and sorry for the english.
