Yes, the first Saturday in November is the Bill Bell Memorial Tuba Day each year. This year our tuba quartet, Undertow, is featured in a 2:15pm clinic and there is a 4pm concert that is part of the Perry Fine Arts Series. There is a 12:30 pm rehearsal that day for anyone who wants to come and play-everyone who plays euphonium, baritone, tuba or sousaphone is invited! There will also be CD's and music available courtesy of TAP Music Sales. There is a nominal registration fee, payable at the United Methodist Church, Third and Willis in Perry, where the rehearsal, clinic and concert will be. Afterwards, we will play at Bill Bell's grave in Perry Cemetary. Next year, November 4, 2000 we will feature Kansas City tubist Steve Hoog. Put it on your calenders! Come this Saturday if you can!
