About 6 or 7 years ago I attended a Tuba Christmas at Disney in Orlando with my sousaphone. I don't remember the exact number, but there were hundreds of tubas and euphoniums. Harvey Phillips was there conducting and it was filmed as part of a Disney holiday special that aired latter that month. It was fantastic!!! It saddens me to hear that it isn't being organized anymore. Unfortunately, I moved from Gainesville to Seattle about 3 years ago. I hope someone will take it upon themselves to organize a Tuba Christmas in Orlando again.
