I use a PT50 on my Miraphone 186 and have no complaints with it at all. Fantasic, lively low register sound in particular. I really think you need some time to develop into it. I didn't start getting the most out of mine until I had it for about six months. This was probably because it was the first truly deep cup mouthpiece I had ever used. Take this into consideration when when get a new one.
