On the "modern(free)" front, get Ellery Eskelin's "Figure of Speech" on Soul Note, featuring Joe Daley, who is wonderful. Also look for stuff by the Ori Kaplan Trio featuring Tom Abbs, and (ahem) Ensemble Duchamp's "Etant Donnes" on Sachimay records featuring, well, me. And we have a new one coming out in the Spring.
