Hmmm..I thought that Disney had actually re-released Fantasia in the 1980's with the Irwin Kostal studio orchestra's digital recording replacing the 1939/40 Philadelphia Orchestra soundtrack, only to restore the Philly Orchestra version in the early 1990s. At the very least, the Irwin Kostal version was released on CDs, which may now be out of print.
