I have a Miraphone 186 Bb circa late 70's. The first rotor is pretty leaky and will hang up when the horn is on it's side. There are no competent repair shops within a 100 miles of here so I would like some advice before I head out looking for a repair shop.

It looks to me like the cylinder on my first rotor may be a tad out of round. If it is, could it be returned to a perfectly round shape? I guess there are 2 options here, repair/replate whatever the existing rotor and cylinder or have an entirely new valve and cylinder installed. Or I guess there could be a third option if a new valve costs too much.

What kind of prices am I looking at for repair?
What kind of price am I looking at for replacement?
Who would you recommend in the state of Texas to do the repairs?

Please email me if you don't want to post this info on the BB.

Thanks
