Personally, I don't think there is any harm in switching mouthpieces (like I would have any hope of using my tuba mouthpiece when I double on trombone) as long as you regularly practice on both so that you don't end up confusing your embouchure. That said, I keep the same mouthpiece (a wick #1) for BBb, CC or Eb tuba (I don't play F) simply because I like the feel of it so much and it is easily the most flexibe mouthpiece I have ever played (for me - you may like something completely different). I guess what I am saying is don't change mouthpieces just for the sake of it. If you find one that works then stick with it, but if you find that a different mouthpiece gives you the sound you want, and that your regular one doesn't, then it's almost definately worth learning to switch.
