I'm a lefty, I just play a normal tuba. It really doesnt slow me down. I also play trumpet and can do most of Arban's Carnival of Venice, with my right hand. It'll take a little effort to switch this guy, but it'll be worth it. The odds of finding some anchient lefty artifact aren't good, nor is the prospect of paying a whole lot for a custom-made tuba.
By the way, if anyone has seen the poster for Oberlin this year they drew the tuba left-handed. I know because its a YBB-321 like I play.
